ST Connector is a common optical fiber connector used to connect optical fibers between optical fiber transmission equipment and optical fiber connection equipment. ST stands for "Straight Tip", which is a cylindrical connector.
The ST connector adopts a threaded connection method, and the connector plug and socket are fixed together by rotation. It has a cylindrical plug with a beveled end that guides the accurate alignment of the fiber during insertion. There is also a metal sleeve on the plug to secure and protect the fiber end.
